The EWB Misuuni Project Team
The Misuuni Project Team is a dedicated group of engineers, architects and climate scientists who meet weekly to design, plan and implement the construction of water resources in Misuuni. Fundraising is an integral part of the success of this project, and we are dedicated to planning and marketing fun fundraising events including band nights, dance nights, rock climbing and documentary film-making. We meet every Tuesday at 6:45pm (see the "Events" page. The team is co-led by Eric Lehan, P.E. and Kasturi Shah.
Misuuni Development Self Help Group (MDSHG) - Local NGO
MDSHG is the local NGO, which has worked on many agricultural and facilities development projects in Misuuni, has partnered with the EWB NY Misuuni Program to make clean water more available to the local community.
In Country Technical Team
The EWB NY Misuuni Program works in-country with local civil engineers from the University of Nairobi to ensure that engineering design, data collection and implementation are done hand-in-hand with local knowledge and resources. The in-country technical lead is Festus Kavita Ndolo.
