Assessment Trip | Field Notes from January 13, 2016

The team took a trip to Muhanga to take a tour of the state-of-the-art facility!

Volunteer Spotlight: Aaron Shew joined the EWB New York Professionals team as our agriculture expert. He is currently working on an interdisciplinary PhD at the University of Arkansas, primarily focused on agricultural economics and geoinformatics. His previous experience in building and managing mills in other developing countries has been invaluable for the decision making on this assessment trip. He fills the knowledge gap among the New York City based volunteers, none of whom have any understanding of agricultural economics.
