Assessment Trip | Field Notes from January 15, 2016

The team met with the Rwanda Agriculture Bureau and One Acre Fund in Kigali, and visited a maize flour plant in Kinamba that will soon be closed down due to Rwanda Standards Board non-conformance. 


Volunteer Spotlight: Rachel Webre serves as the President of the New York Professionals chapter of EWB. Her role on the assessment trip is to establish effective working relationships with our project partners and manage expectations of what EWB can deliver. She has over seven years of experience with EWB, including assessment and implementation trips, fundraising, and chapter management. When she is not working on EWB, Rachel is helping highly skilled immigrants find work in their fields at Upwardly Global.
